Amy joins Partners following over two decades of healthcare nonprofit experience. In her previous role at the American Nurses Foundation she managed programs in the Well-Being Initiative, a program that supports the mental health and resilience of nurses. Additionally, she led the Pulse on the Nation’s Nurses survey series, the largest survey of all US nurses conducted by the American Nurses Association.

Prior to her role with the American Nurses Foundation, Amy served as the Senior Workforce and Health Policy Specialist at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) for over twelve years where she advocated and conducted analyses on oncology workforce issues. Her work included research on the role of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in oncology, with a particular emphasis on practice efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction. She also was the program lead on the National Practice Survey, which monitored and evaluated the impact of economic and political climates on oncology practices as they evolve to address the needs of the rapidly growing population of people living with cancer.

Amy shared, “I am so happy to be returning to work that is so meaningful to me. I am grateful to be working alongside such a committed board to help those who are facing cancer learn about and access treatments that will help these patients live and thrive post diagnosis. I am excited to leverage my background toward connecting clinicians and patients with the knowledge and support they need to make clinically sound healthcare decisions.”

“With Amy on board, our future is looking brighter than ever.” said Bo Plantz, Executive Director. “We have ambitious goals to save lives and improve quality of life for so many navigating their cancer journey, and Amy’s experience and expertise will amplify our progress towards those goals.”

As Partners celebrates this growth milestone, we redouble our commitment to patients and caregivers on the cancer journey. Together, we will improve the quality of life and length of life for patients and caregivers by raising awareness, making connections, and guiding patient and caregiver navigation. Together, we can bridge the gap in cancer care.
